Making a plan for my writing

We need to have only one or a few words in our plan. The plan has to be about the topic. It needs 3 or more ideas. When we use the plan to do our writing, we need to write 2 or more sentences about each idea. The plan helps us to remember what happened. We need to start and end our writing with a sentence about the topic.
I found it easy to make a plan because I only needed to write a few words. The rest of the writing can be tricky for me.

Counting on from the bigger number

We are learning to count on from the bigger number. We start counting after the bigger number. We have to look at the number after the + sign to know how many to count. It is easy for me to count on from the bigger number.

Swimming fun

I did the starfish floating event. The person who floated the longest won. My favourite was the freestyle because you had to kick your legs. I liked the kicking with a board race because you got to hold the board.

Learning about fractions-- half and quarter

Here I was learning about half and quarter.  I found it tricky to show half of the group of flowers. I did it wrong. I have learnt how to write quarter in numbers.

Features of fiction texts

We are learning about the features of fiction texts. They are characters, setting and plot. The plot has a problem and a solution. Sometimes the problem in the story can be dangerous. I find it easy to talk about these features for different books.
